Summary: Ianto doesn't have any cause to lie anymore. A double drabble.
‘Bollocks,’ Rhiannon said, setting her cup of tea on the kitchen table, still unable to grasp what her brother had just told her.
‘After everything you've just seen?’ Ianto asked, calmly cupping his own mug, the tea surprisingly good and calming. How was it that his sister could make him feel so at home? Or maybe it was just that he never came home or had one of his own that felt like home. ‘I won't lie, Rhi. There are plenty of days when I scarcely believe it myself, but it's all true.’ It felt good to finally tell her everything. He'd never had anyone to tell and realised now just what a relief it was to talk to someone about it.
‘An organisation that protects the city against aliens. And you're one of them.’
He winced slightly at the comment. Right now he was probably the only one left. He couldn't ask a pregnant Gwen to carry on with Torchwood. He wasn't sure there was anything to carry on, or even if he wanted to. Not without Jack here. He'd disappeared after defeating the 456. ‘I don't want to lie to you any more. You're literally all I've got.’
