Summary: Ianto will happily agree with Jack if only he'd be more careful. A double drabble.
Jack gasped back into life, lunging upright from where he'd been lying on the ground. It was lucky Ianto hadn't been hunched over him, waiting for him to come back, else he would likely have been headbutted.
‘Where am I?’ Jack asked, turning his head left and right, trying to get his bearings.
‘Lying in the middle of Old Caerphilly Road, having been half torn apart by zombies,’ Ianto replied, trying to get him back on his feet so that they could get back in the SUV. Jack should never have left the safety of the car, but he just had to go and get a closer look.
‘So, you admit they're zombies,’ Jack said, a smile of relief passing over his face.
Ianto slapped him in place of a reassuring post-resurrection hug. ‘I don't care if they are sodding zombies, just don't ever scare me like that again. I thought they were going to eat you.’ Could Jack come back from being eaten? Ianto preferred not to find out. Zombies didn't scare him. Losing Jack did.
‘You're the only one who gets to eat me,’ Jack promised.
Ianto rolled his eyes. ‘Let's just kill some zombies and go home.’
