Title: Panic merchant
Character: Jack, Ianto
Author: m_findlow
Rating: PG
Length: 200 words
Summary: Ianto is mad at Jack for his complete overreaction. A double drabble.
‘Jack Harkness, you put that bloody phone down right now or so help me God…’ Ianto warned, his voice ratcheting up a notch in annoyance as Jack continued to defy him, hearing it ringing on the other end of the speaker.
‘Jack…’ This time his threatening tone was met by an angry stare and a pointed finger that told him in no uncertain terms he’d better shut up.
‘Yes, Owen, I need you here right now. He’s having all kinds of weird contractions and stuff.’
‘I’m not!’ Ianto yelled, certain Owen heard him perfectly clearly. ‘It’s too bloody early for any of that.’ Not that he was an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but he knew his own body. It was just a little stomach pain, probably constipation or something like that. When had he last had a decent bowel movement, he wondered. All he knew was that he shouldn’t have mentioned it to Jack, who had gone into full panic mode.
‘He said he’ll be here in five,’ Jack announced, snapping the phone shut.
‘Good,’ Ianto huffed. ‘Only five minutes to have to wait until someone other than me can tell you you’re being a bloody idiot.’
