Summary: Jack very quickly wears out his welcome. A double drabble.
Jack stalked off out of the bar, holding John at gunpoint as he was being led back to the SUV for his trip to the hub. Once again he'd left the rest of the team to figure out their own way back to the hub, commandeering the SUV without so much as asking.
Owen heaved a sigh once Jack was out of earshot. ‘Okay, so a show of hands. Who's sick and tired of having Jack back already?’ He gave each of them the eye in turn, watching their reluctance to put up a hand even though it was written all over their faces what they thought about playing second fiddle once more. He snorted in derision. ‘You lot are pathetic.’
‘I mean it is a bit annoying,’ Gwen offered.
‘Totally,’ Tosh piped up, agreeing.
‘He at least could've offered for some of us to go with him as backup,’ Ianto added. Owen read between the lines. What he meant was that he didn't trust this John bloke around Jack. Owen agreed.
‘So, what are we all standing around for? Grab us a taxi and make sure we follow them. Any funny business, we shoot first and ask questions later.’
