Summary: Their newest alien has taken a shining to Owen. A double drabble.
‘Get it off me!’ Owen yelled as the giggles began to erupt quietly around him. He hated his team mates right now, thinking it was amusing to have a weird alien creature attacking him. ‘Do something!’
‘I think it likes you,’ Gwen said, all toothy grin. At least Tosh was trying to hide her smile behind her hand, though still doing nothing to address the situation.
‘Chill, Owen,’ Jack said. ‘It won't bite.’
‘Easy for you to say.’ He wasn't the one with several kilos of furry alien on his shoulder. Its long tail was wrapped around his upper arm multiple times. If he could just get it loose…. He tried to remove it but it was wrapped tight. ‘It won't budge!’ he complained, leaning over to dislodge the creature from his shoulder, but the tail around his arm kept it firmly in place.
‘In their natural habitat, they'd wrap their tails around the tree branch for stability,’ Jack said.
‘It is sort of tree kangaroo-ish, don’t you think?’ added Ianto.
Owen winced as the alien tail squeezed tighter. ‘Well I'm not a bloody tree and I don’t care what -ish it is! It’s about to get its tail amputated.’
