Summary: Jack's string of accidents haven't stopped just because he's under medical care. A double drabble.
‘Ianto!’ Owen called out. ‘Need you to go down to the med suites and sort Jack out.’
Ianto frowned at the request. ‘I’ve got real work to do, Owen. I can’t spend my whole day appeasing Jack’s bad mood at being bedridden.’ He’d had quite enough of that already.
‘No, I mean I need you to go down there and help. Stupid idiot was off in la la land on those painkillers I gave him, then totally forgot we’d put his leg in plaster and fell the second he tried to get his half-dazed arse out of bed. Said he had to use the little boys room.’
Ianto gave him a disgusted look. ‘And you just left him there on the floor? You could pick him up and put him back in bed yourself?’
‘He had an accident. Apparently he wasn’t kidding about needing the loo. I’m not his nurse. I fix broken bones, not clean up messes. Someone has to go down there and clean him up.’
Ianto sighed. ‘Bed pans and soiled clothes. Now I know my career has truly peaked.’ He heaved another sigh. ‘Fine. Someone has to go and restore some dignity. Not sure who’s though.’
