Summary: Ianto wishes his sister would stop butting her nose into his love life. A triple drabble.

‘When are you going to have your Jack over for tea?’ Rhiannon asked, placing the mug of hot, milky tea in front of him, along with a plate of chocolate bottom digestives. Tea and biscuits. She was really trying to butter him up.

‘Why are you suddenly so interested in my social life?’ He bloody well knew why, he just wanted her to admit it out loud.

‘Aren’t I allowed to meet the people you date?’ She eased sideways into the chair opposite him and reached for the digestives, dunking one in her mug and then making wet, slurping sounds as she sooked the melty chocolate from the underside before biting off the sodden half. ‘Not like you haven’t brought other girlfriends over. Just because he’s a bloke… It’s no big deal.’ She scowled at him. ‘We’re not cavemen, you know,’ she said, inhaling the rest of the biscuit and chewing on it through her words. ‘He doesn’t have to be your commitment forever before you bring him round.’

‘You do realise it’s the opposite, don’t you?’ he replied, wishing she didn’t think he was the precious one. If she could have seen the kinds of mad stuff he did for a living she’d understand that this was about the most normal thing he had in his life. It was all the other stuff that was mental. ‘It’s a very big deal,’ he told her, gripping the mug with both hands so that they were occupied and not available to reach across the table to strangle her. ‘I don’t want you making him run a million bloody miles. He’s the one good thing I probably don’t deserve. I don't want to screw that up.’

Rhiannon groaned. ‘You’re truly pathetic sometimes. I’ll make sure he knows how bloody lucky he is.’
