Summary: Everyone deserves a little holiday every now and then.

'When you said Jack was treating us to a beach holiday, I thought you meant somewhere nice, like Spain or Greece,' Owen moped.

'Why can't you just be grateful for any holiday, Owen?' Gwen chastised, momentarily putting down her paperback just long enough to take a sip of soda.

'It's Llandudno,' he replied. 'It's about as far from a proper beach holiday as you can get.'

'I think it's nice,' Tosh said, wrapped up in her sarong, lying back on the banana lounge. 'Not too hot, not too cold.'

'Yes, no fear of getting sunburnt here,' he said, noticing that the sun was only just warm. He slipped his t-shirt back on, adding an extra layer of warmth. 'At least we could've gone to Blackpool. Then I could've gone on the roller-coaster whilst you lot sit out here trying to freeze to death. Some decent pubs in Blackpool, too.'

'There's some decent pubs here, as well,' Ianto countered, lying back and listening to the sound of the waves rolling in. 'Just not at eleven o'clock in the morning.'

'Never too early to start drinking. And I'm starving.'

'I saw a van that does fish and chips a bit further back up the beach,' Gwen said.

'Mmm, I love chips by the beach,' Tosh agreed. 'They always taste better, don't you think?'

'Yeah. And ice cream.'

'Right,' Owen said, standing up and brushing off the coarse sand from his clothes. 'I'm off to go get food then. You lot coming?'

'I'm in,' Gwen said.

'Me too,' Tosh added.

'Ianto?' Owen asked.

He pulled up his sunglasses, just long enough to catch a glimpse of Jack, playing around in the waves, muscled torso rising out of the water like some clichéd scene from Baywatch, slowly making his way back towards them. The water rippled off his skin, and his swimming trunks had dipped low on his hips from the weight of the water. Ianto couldn't help but notice he wasn't the only only ogling the view.

'Think I'll stay here,' Ianto grinned, sliding his sunglasses back into place.

Owen groaned and rolled his eyes. 'Leave him to his voyeuristic depravities. You two still coming, or did you want to stay and finish undressing Jack with your eyes as well?'

Reluctantly the girls made to leave before Jack could reach them. 'We'll bring something back for you two,' Tosh promised.

'Make sure you bring back extra sauce. Jack likes to drown his.'

Ianto watched Jack all the way up the beach until he was finally stood over him.

'Where are the others?'

'Gone to get lunch.'

'Good idea. I'm starving,' he said, sitting down and lazing in the unoccupied lounge next to Ianto. 'The water is great. You should try it after lunch.'

'Maybe I will,' Ianto replied. 'It is getting a little warm up here.'
