Suzie leaned back against the kitchen counter, watching Ianto toy with the coffee machine. Stupid thing had never worked. Good luck if he thought he could get it going.

'So, you're Jack's new special project?' she asked.

He gave a little frown in response, unsure how to reply.

'He likes to take things in, like stray puppies,' Suzie said, 'fix them and send them back out on the street.' She gave him an up and down look. 'Or maybe you're just here because you look nice and fuckable.' She sighed. 'I suppose we'll find out which you are soon enough.'
