I'm still trying to finish my last tw_fest submission (a.k.a. the notorious tw_fest "long fic"). I frittered away two months unable to work through the detail and now I'm in the final three days trying madly to pull it together. I've no idea why I always do this to myself, but then again, without a deadline, fics have a tendency to not get done (like my GenPrompt Bingo fic at almost 100k - stupid ending to tie up all the plot points just isn't working for me, so that's two years now it's been sitting there unfinished), and another one that's now five years unfinished (in fact my very first fic that started me writing). *headdesk*
