We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I actually really like Rex as a character. He keeps the investigation moving throughout the series whilst Jack is off at tangents, grinding his own axes and just generally struggling to get his shit together. He's just got that typical brusque American way of doing things, and having two guys both used to being in charge makes for interesting banter between them.
