Summary: Ianto is confused about Jack's latest acquisition. A double drabble.
Ianto frowned as he studied the paperwork left on his desk. It was so like Jack not to bother with an explanatory post-it note, and this one definitely required some explaining. It wasn't every day they acquired an apartment.
He carried the sheaf of papers to Jack's office. 'Is this something we're investigating?' he asked, holding up the documents.
Jack looked up and smiled. 'Nope. I bought it.'
'Oh. As a new safe house?' God knew they were running short but he hadn't had time to scour the market for suitable properties to supplement their existing portfolio.
'No. I bought it for me.'
Ianto checked the address again. '1313 Skypoint Tower, Penarth? Correct me if I'm wrong, but would that be apartment thirteen, level thirteen?'
'Yup. Great views of the bay. I was going to wait until it was fully furnished to show it off to you.'
'Do you have a death wish?'
'Why? Oh, you're not worried about the whole thirteen thing, are you? That's just silly Earth superstition.'
'No, I was thinking more about the aliens passing through walls eating people. Then there was the Vam, also eating people. Are you seeing a pattern?' Skypoint genuinely was cursed.
