Summary: Andy is given a vital task, even if he doesn't see it that way. A double drabble.

As the team piled out of the SUV and grabbed their respective equipment, Jack was already issuing orders.

'Okay, Gwen, Ianto, you go in first and check if we've got any live people still in there. Get them out and find out what they saw and anything else they might have touched. Jez, contagion check. I need to know if this place needs scrubbing or whether it's now a knock down job. Johnson, you help Jez with any bodies. Zip 'em, tag' em and bag up anything nearby that's probably contaminated.'

The four of them filed efficiently into the house with Jack hot on their heels. He only pulled up right at the threshold to turn around and find Andy about to pile straight into him.

'You stay here and guard the door,' Jack told him, staring down at his newest agent. He was only able to stare down on account of being three steps higher up.

Andy looked gutted. 'Why me?'

Jack shrugged. 'You look like a police officer. Should keep any nosy neighbours at bay. Anyone asks, we're checking a reported gas leak, and definitely not possessed household objects. Got that?'

Andy heaved a sigh. 'Aye, aye, Captain.'
