Summary: Jack is getting all tongue-tied.
'That is everything done for the day,' Jack declared loudly as he strode towards where Ianto was still clacking away at the keys on his computer. 'There isn't a single resident left in Cardiff who needs saving,' he added, beaming at yet another successful assignment.
'So it would seem,' Ianto agreed, giving the keyboard one final click, watching the window close.
'So…' Jack looked around the hub, avoiding making any eye contact. 'Plans?'
'Sleep?' Ianto suggested, emphasising the idea with a yawn that escaped him.
Jack's face fell. 'Oh. Well, yeah. I suppose sleep makes sense. You know, not having had any for a few days. I forget sometimes. Dying and coming back tends to make you less sleepy. You deserve it. Sleep is important, and-'
'Jack,' Ianto said, cutting him off. 'If you want us to do something, you only have to say so.' He gave a curious little smirk. 'It's not like you to get all tied up in knots trying to say what you mean.'
'It's not like me having someone make me as crazy as you do.'
That earned him a proper smile. 'I'll try to drive you less crazy in future.'
Jack chuckled. 'Not possible.'
