Summary: The hub is perfectly designed for difficult relationships. A double drabble.
Owen leaned back in his chair and gave a grin. 'Now I know why we keep the archives so far down in the hub.'
Gwen arched an eyebrow at him. 'Because we have so many things that need to be kept away from direct light and electromagnetic interference?'
He chuckled. 'Nah. So when Jack and Ianto have a massive row we've got a good way of putting some serious distance between them. It's like the bloody Arctic in Jack's office right now. I'd say he's ballsed up big time. If he thought he was in the right, he'd be fired up. Instead he's just sulking.'
'I hate when they're fighting,' Gwen said. 'Life's too short, especially in this job.'
Owen snorted. 'Like you and Rhys had never had a row. I bet hell freezes over when you're in a snit.' That shut her up.
'Any idea when we might see Ianto resurface?' She sounded hopeful, like he might be the bigger man and forgive Jack despite everything. She clicked the keys on her keyboard, bringing up a messenger window.
'Anything?' Owen asked.
Gwen waited an agonising few seconds.
'Nothing?'
She shook her head. 'It's going to be a long day.'
