Summary: Gwen has picked up Jack's bad habits, much to Ianto's displeasure. A double drabble.
Ianto braced himself, gripping the door handle more fiercely than he intended, knuckles going white. A lorry missed them by mere feet, swerving to avoid T-boning into their side. 'That was a red light we just went through. We're meant to stop at those, you know.'
'Oh, shush,' Gwen told him. 'I'm busy here,' she added, throwing the SUV into another sharp turn, ignoring completely the sign that said "wrong way, go back", indicating it was one of the city's many one-way streets. Ianto didn't need a sign to tell him that; he knew them all by heart.
'Um, Gwen?'
'Shut up. Do you want to catch this alien today, or not?'
'Today would be good,' he agreed. 'Not dying today would be even better.' How had he not noticed that Gwen had become almost as erratic behind the wheel as Jack? The pair of them were as bad as each other.
'Are you going to start tracking the signal there or just hang on like a terrified child?' Gwen scolded.
'Uh, might just stick with the terrified part for now.' He wouldn't feel happy until Gwen brought the car to a complete stop, preferably not wrapped around a pole.
