Summary: Ianto needs Jack to bail him out of trouble without his sister knowing. A double drabble.

'It's so nice to finally have you both round for tea,' Rhiannon said, as her brother and Jack were helping to dry and put away the dishes. 'I'm sorry you had to cancel last week.' Then she turned to Jack. 'You are feeling better now, aren't you? My brother is such a worrier. I hope he wasn't too clingy.'

Jack frowned a moment, and behind his sister Ianto was frantically waving the tea towel in a gesture indicating Jack needed to lie for all he was worth.

It annoyed Jack. Ianto had told him Rhiannon had cancelled on them last week. Ianto had been avoiding dinner for weeks in fact. He was sorely tempted to call Ianto out in front of his sister, but there was only one thing worse than Rhiannon's fury and that was Ianto's fury when it was directed at Jack. Ianto was still making desperate body signals as Jack made his choice.

'Oh, yeah. Much better now. Ianto was a real trooper putting up with me. I'm not a very good patient.' That much at least he didn't have to lie about, watching as Ianto relaxed back against the sink in relief. Ianto would owe him.
