Summary: Tosh's pain will be over soon. A double drabble.
Tosh knew she was dying. She'd never been shot before but she'd seen enough death to know what was survivable and what wasn't. Still, she'd done what she could to stop many more from dying and that had to be worth it.
There'd been a lot of pain, despite the painkillers, but now that was all melting away. She'd heard the footsteps and then seen Jack running towards her. He was here, with her. So was Gwen. And Ianto. All of them, except for Owen, who was already dead. Part of her hurt for knowing she couldn't save him, but neither had she let him know that they were dying together. She couldn't bear the thought of Owen blaming himself for not being there for her, any more than she would blame herself for not being there for him.
Another part of her was just glad that she wasn't going to die alone now. All the pain had magically receded in the company of the people she loved most, and she knew it would be okay to let go now that they were here. They'd forgive her for not trying harder just so long as they got to say goodbye.
