Summary: Owen is determined to redeem his earlier blunder. A double drabble.
'Are you sure this is going to work?' Gwen asked, frowning at the large swathe of paper as she brushed it with more glue from the giant can Ianto had retrieved for them. It was one of several five metre tall strips that were now draped all over the place. She assumed they'd be hung at some point, before one of them got tangled up in it.
'It's how flypaper works, isn't it?' Owen replied, far more convinced by his own idea than anybody else seemed to be. He should be, since it was mostly his fault the aliens had escaped their containment box in the first place.
'We already proved that trying to capture them with nets didn't work,' Tosh added. The tiny flying creatures were either too swift or too small, having evaded capture for several hours.
'Yes, but if they avoided our nets, what makes you think they'll go anywhere near a bunch of sticky wallpaper? And where's Ianto?'
'Here,' he announced, holding several shopping bags. 'Sent to Asda by Owen to buy twenty kilos of sugar sprinkles. We'll either attract them and catch them, or end up with a whole lot of hyperactive, sugar high aliens.'
