Summary: Owen might be dead, but that doesn't mean he can't be sorry. A double drabble.
Owen knew he'd have to face up to Tosh eventually. He genuinely did feel bad about going off at her the way he had. It wasn't her fault she couldn't see what a twat he was. She was in love with him and that was far more than he deserved when he'd been living. He deserved it even less now that he was dead. He didn't really deserve any of them being nice to him.
When he arrived back at the hub it felt empty. He eventually clocked Ianto shuffling around and he silently pointed down at Owen's old medical bay, where Tosh was sitting on the steps in a world of her own. He slowly descended and sat down next to her.
'I'm sorry, Tosh.'
'No. I'm the one who should be sorry,' she replied. 'I thought pizza and beer would make it all feel normal again. I should've been more sensitive. I can't even begin to imagine how you must feel.'
'I don't,' Owen replied. 'That's kind of the point.' He was numb.
She grabbed his hand and squeezed. 'You do. No one else could have done what you did tonight. Now it's time we repaid the favour.'
