torchwood100Summary: There's one thing in the hub that Ianto isn't allowed to know about. A double drabble.
'What's that one do?' Ianto asked as Jack was at the back end of his extensive tour of the hub. The young man had taken a ridiculous amount of notes along the way, nearly filling the small notepad he'd carried with him.
Jack let his gaze follow the trajectory of Ianto's finger, spotting the switch on the wall by the side of Jack's office. He'd explained just about every other door, panel, swipe access and secret passage, but that one he'd specifically ignored. Not that it had stopped Ianto's eagle eye from asking the question.
'You don't need to know about that one,' Jack replied.
There was an arched eyebrow. 'Above my security clearance?' Nothing else had been, and Ianto was ex-Torchwood One, so understood that with such a small team here in Cardiff, nothing was off limits. Jack hadn't held anything back, making sure Ianto knew the hub as well as he did.
'Captain's access only,' Jack said, hoping it was firm enough instruction to eliminate any curiosity.
'Duly noted,' Ianto said, adding more scribbles to his notepad.
Jack breathed a sigh of relief. Couldn't be admitting he had no idea what it did in front of new employees!
