torchwood100Summary: Ianto can't stay quiet anymore. A double drabble.
Tosh and Gwen were onto them, Ianto realised with a sickening clenching of his stomach. He didn't quite know how, but they'd figured out some of it - that the rift was capable of going both ways, in equally unpredictable fashion.
It was all he could do not to make eye contact with Jack across the boardroom table. They knew, and yet Jack hadn't yet said anything. He was going to try and discourage them with his silence. It was crazy. How did Jack think that they could possibly keep this thing quiet anymore? The rift took people, and sometimes it dumped them back, in horrific and terrible states. It was bad enough knowing that much. What the hell would happen when they found out about Flat Holm? Harboring victims of the rift in a secret underground hospital was the kind of secret Ianto could barely keep on a good day.
He silently pleaded for Jack to fess up to all of it, yet he remained resolute, playing dumb to Tosh and Gwen's revelations and unethused about pursuing it further. Jack had to be made to see sense, and it seemed like Ianto was the only one who might sway him.
