Summary: Ianto is worried Jack may have upset the wrong person. A double drabble.
Ianto frowned at the road ahead as he sat in the car beside Jack. Every now and then he'd cast a sideways glance at his lover, just to make sure he was okay.
'Stop doing that,' Jack said, catching him out on one of his many sneak peaks. 'I'm totally fine. Plan on being that way for a really long time.'
'She said she was going to hex you,' Ianto replied, remembering the old woman who Jack had failed to charm as he raided her back garden shed for the alien device. To say she was unhappy about it was an understatement. He half expected Jack to turn into an ugly toad at any moment, which would not only be unfortunate as he quite liked the way Jack looked, but there was also the small matter of a toad being unable to drive an SUV in mid-afternoon traffic.
'She's not a witch, Ianto.'
'Could've fooled me. Hunched back, mole on the tip of her nose, talons instead of fingernails…'
'There's no such thing as witches, spells or magic,' Jack told him. 'Just more of your twenty-first century superstitions getting the better of you. I'll send her a fruit basket tomorrow.'
