Summary: Alien rescues don't always go to plan. A triple drabble.
'Can you see anything?' Jack asked, leaning over Ianto and blocking out what little light he had from above, now totally reliant on the tiny torch in his hand to see anything.
'I can see that I need to be more frequent in how often I use drain cleaner. It's absolutely atrocious down there.'
Jack growled under his breath. 'I don't care about how dirty the pipes are, can you see the alien down there or not?'
'No… er, actually, maybe.' He had his head at right angles to the bottom of the bathtub now as he tried to get a closer look. 'Yes, it's done there alright. I think it may have gotten stuck trying to be Steve McQueen.'
'Serves it right,' Jack said. 'We gave it a perfectly nice place to hang out.'
'Well, it's not too far down,' Ianto replied. He reached in his hand down the plughole. 'Based on previous experience, if I can reach a finger out toward it, it'll wrap its suckers around it and I should be able to pull it back out.'
'It does love to be touchy feely,' Jack agreed. He just didn't quite love the slimy sensation of it, and he was a pro tentacles kind of guy.
Ianto winced as he manoeuvred his hand. 'Ah, there it is. Ooh, that's some grip!'
'Gently does it,' Jack warned him. They didn't want to hurt the little guy.
'Um…' Ianto's expression became clouded with worry.
'Is it okay?'
'Pretty sure, but it might not be the only one now stuck down the plughole.' He tugged his hand but his wrist was jammed in tight. What had gone in without much trouble was now not coming back out the same way. Ianto grimaced painfully. 'Yeah, it's definitely stuck.'
Jack groaned. 'Oh, boy.'
