Summary: Ordering food has divided opinions. A double drabble.
‘I’m about to phone in our pizza order,’ Ianto called out. ‘Any requests?’
Tosh raised her hand unnecessarily. ‘I was wondering if we might try the Vegie Supreme for a change.’
‘Vegie Supreme?’ Owen said disdainfully. ‘No chance.’
‘We probably should cut down on meat and try to eat more healthily,’ Jack admitted. ‘I’m up for it.’
Owen snorted at the reply. ‘If you wanted to go healthy we shouldn't even be having pizza. I’m saying we stick with what we know. Meat feast has never upset anyone before.’
‘Owen’s right,’ Gwen agreed. ‘Pizza without meat is just… Well, it’s not pizza.’
‘Ianto? There’s five of us,’ Jack said. ‘That makes you the deciding vote.’
He cringed at the way they all stared at him, waiting to have the final say on the matter. Who knew pizza could create such divided opinions? ‘Honestly, it really doesn’t matter to me.’ Owen groaned at his fence-sitting. ‘But, if we do go down the vegetarian pizza option, can I make a suggestion that we dispense with the coleslaw? I mean, there’s only so much vegetable we can eat, right?’
‘Swap it for those chocolate bavarian cheesecakes and you’ve got a deal,’ Owen replied.
