torchwood100Summary: Jack is having trouble getting around. A triple drabble.
'Ow,' Jack complained, feeling his shin clip yet another object in the dark. He had no idea how it was that he'd managed to find every sharp, hard object the archives had to offer. He was going to wake up tomorrow covered in the kinds of bruises that were not enjoyable to regale.
'Might you try to be a little less destructive?' Ianto asked, somewhere just in front of him, leading him by the hand yet seemingly doing nothing to protect Jack from running into things. He certainly didn't hear Ianto bumping into things.
'I can't see,' Jack replied, stating the obvious. Maybe it wasn't dark at all. Maybe he was blind. It would at least explain why Ianto wasn't crashing into things.
'Well, I didn't plan on us losing power while we were down here. Just consider yourself lucky that I know my way around here well enough to get us back up to the main hub. At least there might be some emergency lighting up there, or an explanation as to why we're in the dark.'
'Couldn't you have found our clothes first?' Jack didn't usually complain about things like that but somewhere in both of their trouser pockets would have at least been their phones, which they might have used to light the way. And they might have provided him some protection from the items down here that took umbrage at their presence.
'You tore them off in such a hurry as you were shoving me along with your tongue down my throat that I don't know where they are. I'm good, but I'm not that good.'
Touché, Jack thought.
'Not like you to mind wandering about naked,' Ianto said.
'Yeah, but I can't see you naked, which kind of defeats the whole point.'
'Use your imagination.'
