Summary: Jack has his reservations about Ianto returning to Cardiff. A double drabble.
Jack frowned as he watched Ianto pick up his wallet and keys. 'Are you sure you're okay to drive?'
'Of course I'm okay to drive. I have driven between London and Cardiff before, you know.' He tried to make it sound so nonchalant, but it didn't ease Jack's mind.
'I could…'
Ianto fixed him with a gaze. 'What? Come with me, but only as far as the other side of the toll bridge? Don't be ridiculous. Besides,' he said, taking on that calm rational tone again, 'it'll give me three and a half hours more to figure out how I'm going to explain to my sister that you're back again and have taken up residence in my London flat. She'll be apoplectic that I've forgiven you.'
Jack felt a lump form in his throat. 'Have you? Forgiven me?' He wasn't sure he deserved it, not after everything.
Ianto's expression turned furtive. 'I think so. It's just going to take time though.'
'Time is one thing I have plenty of.'
Ianto stepped closer and pecked him on the cheek. 'We'll figure it out, including how to tell Rhiannon.'
Jack pecked him back. 'Drive safe. I need you to come back home.'
