Summary: Jack is in trouble for not being careful enough. A double drabble.
Jack cracked open an eye, momentarily disoriented, but feeling a pleasant rush of pain-numbing chemicals flowing around his body.
'I hear congratulations are in order,' Ianto quipped, hovering over the bed Jack found himself lying in.
'Huh?' Everything was still a bit hazy and Jack couldn't recall how he'd come to be here.
'You were lucky,' Ianto told him. 'The window cleaners were on duty and you only fell about forty feet, crash landing on their trolley and giving them one hell of a fright. They thought you were a suicide jumper. Instead all you managed to do was shatter all the bones in your right leg and your hip. Owen's been in a right snit having to plaster and patch you up, but it's better than us having to peel you off the ground with a spatula.' He heaved a frustrated sigh. 'How many times are we going to tell you not to go up there? Hmm? Inevitable that one day you were going to lose your balance and fall.' Ianto was beginning to sound mad now.
'I didn't lose my balance,' Jack protested. He'd never fallen before. Not ever.
'Right, we'll just blame the wind then, shall we?'
