tw100Summary: All of Ianto's persistence has finally paid off.
Ianto could feel his hands shaking as he got back in the car and sat behind the wheel for a moment, letting the last hour sink in.
He’d done it; finally convinced the captain who ran Torchwood Three to let him have a job. He’d stroked the man’s ego until he could no longer ignore the fact that he’d enjoy having someone around who worshipped the ground he walked on, whilst occasionally being able to bring him back down to earth with a well placed dry remark.
It was a foot in the door, and that was all he needed.
