Summary: Owen is fed up fighting over something that's not his responsibility. A double drabble.

Owen was furious with Jack. For years he’d always banged on about how he knew everything and was always right, which meant that they should always do whatever he told them.

Now, here was his big moment, when time was fragmenting and the world was quickly going to hell, and he had the cheek to stand there and say he didn’t know how to fix things.

Not only that, but that this whole thing was Owen’s fault in the first place for opening the rift, as if he’d done it only to save himself. He’d wanted desperately to open the rift and get Dianne back, but instead he’d sucked it up and the only two people he’d saved were Tosh and Jack. Bloody ungrateful prick. Should have left him back in 1941.

At first Owen thought Jack must have been joking when he’d yelled at Owen to get out. Then he’d realised that there was only one indomitable truth: Jack always had to be right, even when he was wrong.

Well, if that was the case then there was no point arguing any longer. Owen wasn’t in charge, so the world ending wasn’t his problem. That was Jack’s problem now.
