Summary: Jack points out the problems of receiving snail mail. A double drabble.
‘I told you we needed to go ex-directory!’ Jack yelled, nearly tripping over the pile of mail that flooded through the tourist office doorway as he tugged it open, readying to leave on important business. Instead, now he was trying to disentangle his legs from the mountain of post as it avalanched in around him. It wasn't so much the letters that were trying to take his legs out from under him as it was the parcels, and the poorly wrapped teddy bears and whatnot, covered in thin brown packing paper, that wanted to accost him.
‘It’s not my fault,’ Ianto replied, appearing with several large containers for collecting it. ‘I’m not the one who just happens to be a doppelganger for some matinee idol popstar. He’s on tour for the next month but you’ve got everyone convinced he’s living here, which makes it the perfect place to drop off fanmail and gifts.’
Jack paused at Ianto’s description. ‘You think I have matinee idol looks?’
Ianto rolled his eyes as he began filling the first container. ‘Trust you to only latch on to the most important bit of what I just said. Just be grateful they’re not queuing for autographs.’
