Summary: Gwen needs Ianto to do some digging on Jack. A double drabble.


Gwen: Hey, Ianto.

Ianto: Hey.

Gwen: You’re the master of the archives, right?

Ianto: That’s not quite the title I give myself, but yes. Why?

Gwen: So, if I said that when we were at Estelle’s house and there was a photograph back in the forties of Estelle and a man Jack claims was his father, you could find out if that was true?

Ianto: I don’t think we have dating records from the forties.

Gwen: I meant the photo. He looked exactly like Jack.

Ianto: Well, family resemblance is not uncommon…

Gwen: EXACTLY like Jack. Anything about him in Jack’s Torchwood file? Any way we could track down other photos? Jack said he served in the war. Someone must have a photo. Military records? US or UK?

Ianto: You do know that no one has ever found Jack’s personnel file, don’t you? Trust me, we looked.

Gwen: His birth certificate, then. It must have his dad’s name listed on there.

Ianto: I’ll see what I can do. No promises, though. Jack is the biggest damn mystery Torchwood has.

Gwen: Thanks, Ianto. You’re a gem.

Ianto: P.S. It’s “Overlord of the Archives”, just in case you were wondering.

Should be Overlord of the whole Hub considering the amount if work Ianto does. I bet he knows all of Jack's secrets anyway, but he's not telling anyone.
