Summary: Ianto doesn't need luck where Jack is concerned. A double drabble.
Jack couldn’t resist grabbing Ianto as he passed by, minding his own business. Any excuse for a little kiss and cuddle, even if they were both supposed to be on the clock and keeping things professional.
He tugged Ianto close until their hips were pressed together and Jack could play with the buttons on Ianto’s jacket. He felt a bulge in the right hand pocket and dipped his hand inside, pulling out the object and revealing Ianto’s antique gold stopwatch. ‘Ah, I see you’re carrying your lucky charm.’
Ianto took it from Jack’s hand and slipped it back into his pocket in an effort to persuade Jack that now wasn’t the time. ‘It's not my lucky charm,’ he replied. ‘I don’t believe in luck.’
Jack arched an eyebrow at him. ‘No? Doesn’t it just so happen that whenever you have it, you just happen to get lucky not so soon afterwards?’
Ianto rolled his eyes. ‘I get lucky more often than that.’ He didn’t even sound smug about it.
‘Well, sure, but your chances of getting lucky go up exponentially.’ The things that man could do with a stopwatch… ‘Maybe later if I send the others home early?’
‘With luck.’
