Summary: Jack's resurrection comes as a surprise, even to Gwen. A triple drabble.

Gwen's heart was pounding a million miles an hour in her chest. She'd been just so giddy with delight that Jack had beaten the odds and come back to them. She'd just known he had to. He'd told her he couldn't die; that he just bounced back from being dead. It was physically impossible for him to stay dead. She'd been so adamant with the rest of them that right now it didn't even matter about having been right all along. It was enough just to have Jack back. Just to walk hand in hand with him and share the good news with the others. To watch their faces light up with the same joy she'd felt at having Jack back in their lives.

But then he'd gone and done something she didn't expect. Seeing him grab Ianto's face and kiss the young man caught her completely by surprise. That was no first kiss, or just a friendly little peck. It was a full on snog.

Of all the mysteries Jack Harkness held for her, that was one she hadn't seen coming. How has she missed that? Just how long had that been going on right under their noses? Ianto was straight, wasn't he? Clearly not if that kiss was anything to go by.

God, she felt so guilty now, having stayed at Jack's side all this time, whilst Ianto had put on a brave face and said nothing. Had he known Jack would come back and was just biding his time, or had he truly thought Jack was gone forever? Given the propensity for secrets around here, maybe she'd never know. She wanted to feel happy for them, but somehow it felt like something had been stolen from her, even if it had never been hers to begin with.

She should feel guilty. She blocked everyone else from saying their goodbyes in case Jack didn't come back, while ignoring the man she'd opened the Rift to get back. I always thought that was one of the worst decisions the writers made. Gwen came off as completely selfish.
