Summary: Loving Jack has its downsides, but Ianto won't be dissuaded. A double drabble.

‘There are many kinds of heroism, and Ianto Jones?’ Jack leaned his ear so close that Jack’s lips were brushing his ear. ‘I like yours.’

Perhaps it was flattery, but sometimes even Ianto didn’t mind hearing Jack say something like that. He pulled back just far enough to steal Jack’s lips in a kiss that lasted a whole lot longer than he’d initially planned. By the time it had, their arms were so entangled around each other he didn’t think they could unravel themselves in a hurry, even if the world was ending.

‘You know,’ Ianto began, ‘it’s much nicer when kissing someone doesn’t come attached with that person also wanting desperately to kill you.’

Jack blushed slightly, which was an unusual reaction. Jack rarely ever felt embarrassed but clearly he felt bad about the whole virus thing. ‘Kind of puts a dent in the whole “can’t keep my hands off you” bit,’ he confessed.

‘I may find myself invoking our safe word more often when things get a bit rough,’ Ianto admitted. They were both cured, or at least inoculated, but it never paid to be too careful.

‘Then I’ll plan on keeping things nice and gentle,’ Jack promised.
