Summary: Ianto is having trouble getting people to submit their paperwork. A double drabble.
Ianto huffed, taking pacey strides across the hub to keep up with a fast retreating Gwen. ‘I really need that report!’ he called after her, not caring if he was making a scene. He knew she was avoiding him but she wasn’t going to get away without hearing his thoughts on the matter.
She gave him a rushed look over her shoulder as she kept moving. ‘I’m really sorry, Ianto. I promise I’ll have it to you by the end of the week. Got to go. Jack’s waiting.’
Of course he was, Ianto thought, getting his teeth. There was another one who’d been shirking his admin with a stack of overdue files that were moving to grossly overdue to ancient history. He spied Tosh from the corner of his eye. ‘How are you getting on with that costing analysis for UNIT?’
Tosh squeaked at being addressed. ‘Oh, um. Yes, well… See, I’ve been so busy with this quantum modulator Jack gave me to test. He says it's very important that we assess whether we can leverage its spatial shifting properties.’ She blushed. ‘I’ll get to it as soon as I can. Promise!’
Ianto sighed. Honestly, it was like herding cats!
