Summary: Jack's coat takes a lot of hands to get back in mint condition. A double drabble.
Ianto fussed at the grey blue fibres of Jack’s coat, which lay heavy across his lap as he perched on a stool in the kitchenette under the stairs. It was a cramped little space considering how often it was used given the spaciousness of the hub, but at least it put him close to a source of hot water.
‘I thought you were taking that to the dry cleaners,’ Jack observed, coming to stand at the bottom of the spiral staircase, boots having thudded down every step, announcing his approach. ‘Or should I not ask, given how annoyed you looked when I gave it to you?’
‘I’m not averse to a challenge,’ Ianto replied. ‘I’m just not sure it's fair to impose the same on some poor dry cleaner. Thought I’d have a go at getting the worst of it out beforehand.’ Yes, he’d been annoyed, but that was more on account of the blood being Jack’s than the stain itself.
‘Not sure soap and water is gonna help,’ Jack confessed, looking guilty now that he was sporting a fresh shirt and trousers.
‘Not sure bringing them bloodstained clothes every week isn’t going to end with the police getting involved.’

I can't blame him for wanting to get the worst out. He's right about too many bloodstained clothes being suspicious.
