Summary: Ianto is having trouble fitting in, literally and figuratively. A double drabble.
‘I'm really not sure about this,’ Ianto said, wriggling awkwardly in front of the mirror, grabbing the crotch of his trousers in a way that was very un-Ianto like. ‘They're very tight,’ he said, wriggling some more. ‘Do they have to be leather?’
‘They're perfect and you look great,’ Jack replied as he slid his arms into his leather jacket.
‘Don't they chafe?’
‘Only if you sweat a lot. Do you plan on sweating a lot?’
‘I'm not sure. I've never worn leather trousers before. How do you even move in these things?’ he asked, loping in an necessarily ridiculous way.
‘Just walk normally.’ Honestly, it wasn't bondage gear.
‘Couldn't I just wear my usual clothes?’ he whined.
‘Only if you want to stand out,’ Jack replied. ‘We're supposed to be undercover. This is very common clothing on Parxas. You'll fit right in.’
Ianto tugged at the clinging fabric around his crotch again. ‘Looking like a member of a biker gang? What kind of aliens live on this planet?’
‘The kind that hate lawyers, and no offence, but your three piece, lovely as it is, would likely get us lynched before we made it a hundred yards.’
Ianto huffed. ‘Philistines.’
