torchwood100Summary: Jack looks to be about to put the whole mission in jeopardy. A double drabble.
Seeing Jack's faded blue three piece suit made Ianto want to cringe. It was a mystery to him how Jack had survived the last century with some of the harebrained things he did. Needless to say, Ianto was going to have to have words about his fashion choices. If Jack thought this was how the clientele of G R Owens dressed, he needed to fast forward about fifty years.
At least Ianto mostly fit in with his own suit. A man who worked in menswear was expected to look the part, but there was just something about the thin red pinstripe in the once navy wool of Jack's suit that made Ianto consider it a crime against decency. If Torchwood were hoping to disguise themselves inside the huge department store, trying to get to the bottom of Jack's twenty year long mystery, they certainly weren't doing a great job of it when their boss arrived looking the way he did. He literally screamed “outsider” and to make matters worse he was headed right in Ianto's direction.
Well, as the only one working in menswear today, Ianto could at least do something about Jack's clothes. Before he gave them away entirely.
