Summary: Pet sitting is hard when not all the pets are animals. A double drabble.
‘Can’t you take him to the park or something?’ Owen said, huffing out another frustrated sigh.
Ianto returned his less than pleased look. ‘Which one? The dog who thinks he’s Jack, or the Jack that thinks he’s a dog?’
‘Can’t you take both?’
Ianto rolled his eyes. Not likely. It was easy enough to put a leash on a canine unable to squeeze the intelligence of a human being into its tiny skull, but try taking a human that had the intelligence of a dog. He sighed. Only Jack could find a way to do a complete body swap.
A wet nose pressed against his palm and he looked down. The dog gave a whine, looking up at him with an expression that Ianto understood perfectly. He cast his gaze across the hub and spotted human Jack on the sofa, holding something in his hands and chewing it. Great.
‘Alright,’ Ianto said, conceding he could help Owen in some small way to deal with this until they could fix it. ‘I’ll take this one walkies, you just make sure Jack doesn’t ingest anything it shouldn't. And you,’ he said, looking at the dog, ‘cross your legs until we get there.’
