torchwood100Summary: A case of butterfingers has lost the boys their newest toy. A double drabble.
‘I told you to be careful with that thing!’ Ianto growled.
‘I was being careful,’ Jack replied. ‘My hand was slippery.’
Ianto rolled his eyes. ‘And I wonder how that could’ve happened.’ He struggled in the bed but it was no use. He was completely tangled up in the sheets. Small wonder Jack could get an arm down there to pull the thing out in the first place. ‘Well, don’t just lie there on top of me. See if you can find where it went.’
There was a good degree of squirming as Jack attempted to disentangle himself, resulting in one slightly slimy hand grabbing Ianto by the shoulder, adding to the unpleasantness as he used Ianto as leverage. Eventually with a bit more tugging, and Ianto helping to extract Jack from the sheets all the way down to his bare bottom, he was finally able to lean over the edge and take a look.
‘Can you see it?’ Ianto asked.
Jack nearly kneed Ianto somewhere sensitive as he pushed further over the edge. ‘It’s rolled all the way under the bed.’
A sigh. ‘We’ll never see it again, then,’ Ianto replied. Pity. He’d quite enjoyed their new alien toy.
