Summary: Ianto has caused quite the reaction from their newest guest. A double drabble.
Jack tapped his earpiece. ‘Ianto, are we getting coffee anytime soon? The natives are getting restless up here after being out all morning.’
‘I’ll do it soon,’ came the slightly short reply. Ianto rarely did snippy or rude, unlike everyone else. Occasionally the silent treatment, yes, but rarely an open gesture of annoyance. Jack went through a mental checklist of things he might have done to upset their general support officer and came up empty.
‘About time,’ Jack said, as the movement by his doorway caught his eye. ‘And what was with the attitu–’ he paused and took in Ianto’s appearance. He was covered in a film of something shiny and gooey. ‘What happened to you?’
Ianto took the towel from his hand and cocked his head, working the tip into his ear. ‘I was getting our new guest settled in.’
‘And I admire your enthusiasm, but can I remind you we’re not a full service hotel?’ Jack didn't want anyone deriving pleasure from Ianto except him, but that didn’t seem to have deterred their new alien from showing its appreciation for a handsome Welshman.
‘Mind out of the gutter, Captain,’ Ianto warned him. ‘I think it sneezed on me.’
