drabble_zoneSummary: Ianto is getting fed up at having to bail Jack out. A double drabble.
Ianto felt annoyed to receive Jack’s phone call, asking him to come down to the police station and help with a bail application. Just once it would be nice if the team could go out on a rift retrieval and not end up arrested. He was beginning to wonder if Jack didn’t do it on purpose just for the attention.
He frowned when he ascended the station’s front steps and saw Jack leaning in the doorway. ‘Did they decide to just let you go? You could have called to tell me and save me the bother of coming down here.’
Jack frowned back at him. ‘Ianto, you wound me with your lack of concern for my welfare.’
‘I’m more concerned with the mounting pile of reports presently not getting done because I’m here instead. So? What did you do?’
Jack stepped closer. ‘I didn’t do anything. I know you think I aim to get arrested once a week, but it’s totally unfounded.’
‘So I don’t need to bail you out.’
‘Not me,’ Jack clarified. ‘But you might wanna help Gwen out.’
Ianto raised an eyebrow. ‘Gwen?’
‘Some bystander thought he’d poke her ass. She poked him back with her fist.’
