torchwood100Summary: Gwen isn't sure there's a right time and place for this. A double drabble.
Gwen tried not to show annoyance on her face but it was becoming increasingly difficult. Sometimes it was like working with professionals and at other times it was like running a kindergarten.
‘Please, could you two just stop?’ she implored. ‘I need you to be serious.’ It was bad enough dealing with deep fried, slightly melty alien in the kitchen of the fried chicken shop close to closing time on a Friday night, but now they had the happy drunk half of Cardiff, including a sozzled hen's party, pressing at the glass, partly wondering why they couldn't soak up their booze with hot, greasy chips and partly because they'd clocked Jack and Ianto on the other side of the glass and were hoping for a bit of Full Monty performance. One of the women was staring to lick the glass.
Jack rolled his eyes, a trick he'd learned from his partner in crime. ‘We're keeping the public occupied,’ he replied.
‘By putting on a peep show?’ Gwen was all for letting someone else deal with the cover up for the public's sake, but this was just taking the piss.
Jack blew the drunken woman a kiss. ‘It's working, isn't it?’
