Jack growled at the sound of gentle knocking on his door.

'What have you come to complain about now?'

'Sir?' Ianto replied, frowning.

Jack let out a vexed sigh. 'Sorry. It's just that the only time you come in here is to deliver coffee or hand me a requisition form for something that needs fixing. And I don't see any coffee.'

'It's not my fault the place is a mess, sir,' Ianto replied, emboldened by the need to state the obvious, and slipping the paperwork onto his desk. 'And I'm not complaining.'

'No, you're not. You're too polite for that. Instead you've developed a system of forms to object to how I run things around here.'

'I'd like to think that you've not had the time to dedicate to the task,' Ianto said. 'You run things just fine, albeit with the hub falling down around your ears.'

'Is it really that bad?' He'd lived and worked here for over a century and never really noticed a problem.

'You'll see I've noted here a series of blocked or broken pipes,' Ianto said, pointing to the papers on Jack's desk. 'If we get them fixed, your team will have proper shower facilities.'
