'What do you think, Ianto?' Jack said, flicking through the glossy brochures. 'A tropical island getaway? Some sunshine, cool blue water, warm white sand and lots of tequila. How does that sound?'

It sounded lovely if you were the holidaying type. They'd never done holidays; not proper ones. A night at a hotel here, weekend camping there. Never a real holiday. They'd have to buy whole new outfits for a real holiday.

Ianto paused, swallowing his coffee before it dribbled out between his lips, trying hard to suppress his newfound laughter. Coffee finally swallowed, he let out a fit of giggles.

'What's so funny? What's wrong with an island holiday?'

Ianto finally calmed himself, though it was hard. 'It's not that. I just couldn't get the image out of my head of you dressed in a loud Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops. You'd look utterly ridiculous.' He laughed again, just picturing it.

Jack tried not to be offended. 'Fine,' he said, 'we could always opt to holiday in a nudist colony.'

Ianto's face paled, looking stricken at the suggestion. 'Nope, on second thoughts flip-flops is fine, actually. We could get matching shirts.'  

'Or we could just wear normal clothes.'

'That too.'
