Ianto forced out a heavy breath, unaware he'd been holding it.

How had he gotten himself into this situation in the first place? Had he really wanted into Torchwood Three so badly that he was prepared to flirt his way into their Captain's good graces?

He hadn't meant to, but now he was lying on top of him, their lips so close that he could almost taste Jack's breath. It felt more awkward than he could have imagined, suddenly wanting more than just the job.

He had to get out of here before he did something he might not regret.
