'How's Owen?' Ianto asked as Jack strode back into the hub.

'He'll live. I've told him to be back at work first thing tomorrow. Not that he was all that happy about it.'

Ianto set down his file on the desk. 'Isn't that a little harsh?'

'I brought him grapes.'

'He's just been mauled by a weevil. He seems to be having a bit of a hard time of things, you know, since Diane left.'

'He needs the distraction,' Jack replied. 'Maybe it's being cruel to be kind, but I don't know how else to solve a problem like Owen.'

Jack's probably right; leaving Owen to wallow will just make him worse.
