Notes: Jack can't help his old fashioned ways. A double drabble.

Ianto frowned as he caught Jack doodling all over his report of their latest rift find. He wished Jack would pay more attention and not scribble on official documents. Now he’d have to print a fresh copy.

'Jack, what are you doing?'

Jack looked up. 'Just adding a quick sketch.'

Ianto took a closer look. It was quite a good likeness of the feathery creature, Jack being quite accomplished with a pencil. Ianto envied him his artistic talent. He might have had neat penmanship, but he couldn’t draw to save himself.

'You do know we have about fifty digital photos that will attach to our report, don’t you?' Ianto asked. Everything was digital these days. All he really wanted was Jack’s signature on the final copy. Maybe that was considered old fashioned but if Jack penned the report it felt more official.

'I know,' Jack replied. 'Old habits die hard, though. Used to have to draw everything by hand in the old days. It’s actually quite relaxing.'

'Torchwood didn’t have cameras?' Everything else was way ahead of its time.

'I had a polaroid camera that dropped through the rift in 1910. It was great until we ran out of paper.'
