Owen poked the small device with the end of his pen.
'Please don't do that,' Tosh insisted. 'It's a little on the delicate side.'
Owen groaned. 'You're sure you can fix it?' he asked. 'I mean, not that I mind a bit of peace and quiet from the boss, but he can't stay a squid forever.'
'Fixing it is the easy part,' she replied. 'Getting the settings right, now that's going to be the tricky part. There's a very narrow margin of error.'
'And if you get it wrong?'
'Then being a squid will be the least of Jack's problems.'
